A picture is worth a thousand words! For centuries, people have depended on visual representations such as charts and maps to understand information more easily and quickly. We collect massive amounts of data during the course of a clinical study, which cannot be digested just by looking at tables and listings. How do we communicate information clearly and efficiently to users? Data visualisation is a powerful technique used not only to communicate with scientists but also to understand, interpret and even clean the data. The DV stream focuses on data visualisation examples, tools and techniques which can be used within our field to leverage data to better support drug development.
